Aluminium & Powder coating

Our luminaires are built to resist the harshest conditions over time, which is why we use aluminum, an excellent material for natural corrosion resistance. We also emphasize advanced surface treatments and coatings.

We chose AKZO NOBEL powder coating for its outstanding resistance in extreme conditions. Together, aluminum and AKZO NOBEL powder coating ensure Solux luminaires withstand high temperatures, humidity, UV discoloration from prolonged sun exposure, and salt corrosion from coastal areas.

Lithinum battery
LIFE.PO4

The battery is the key component of solar lighting solutions. Quality battery technology determines the performance, lifespan, and cost of a solar luminaire.

From the beginning, Solux has chosen the LIFEPO4 Lithium battery, which guarantees an operating lifetime of over 10 years and 5000 cycles.

Many manufacturers, due to lack of knowledge or cost-saving measures, opt for other technologies like Lithium Ion or NiMH, resulting in poor product quality and shorter lifespans.

With over 500,000 products installed worldwide in various climates, Solux batteries have proven their quality and performance.

*Depth of Discharge (DoD) measures how much of a battery's capacity has been used, expressed as a percentage. It is calculated by dividing the discharged capacity by the battery's total capacity. For instance, a 1000 Wh battery discharged by 250 Wh has a DoD of 25%.

Smart heat dissipation design

High temperatures can drastically reduce a battery’s lifespan. Our solution is to encapsulate our batteries in aluminum waterproof casings, ensuring excellent heat dissipation. The design also allows natural airflow, keeping the battery at ambient temperature.

Solux microwaves
sensor technology

Solux solutions are equipped with microwave detectors that utilize the Doppler effect, similar to car radars, to detect presence and measure distance. These sensors emit high-frequency waves that bounce off objects to analyze presence.

The benefits of microwave detectors include:

Much higher reliability compared to infrared detectors.
Up to 360° directivity.
Insensitivity to environmental variations such as light, color, and temperature.
Long and stable detection range.

Microwaves technology

Microwaves 360° coverage

Charge controller
The brain of the system

The charge controller is the brain of the solar lighting system. It regulates and protects the battery charge while managing the lighting and its programming.

The electronics of the Solux controller are fully encapsulated in an aluminum box, ensuring both tightness and excellent heat dissipation. Additionally, the controller safeguards all components against:

Overload / Overcurrent / Overtemperature / Overvoltage / Overdischarge

MPPT technology equiped

In a search for performance and reliability, our products are equipped with MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) technology controller offering the best charging efficiency on the market.
