In 2026, Solux supplied a solar lighting project in Abomey-Calavi, Benin, working with civil engineering partners.
Dozens of SSLX Pro 120 lights were installed along urban roads. After the poles were anchored, the luminaires were mounted and commissioned without trenches or cables for a grid connection.
The SSLX Pro 120 has a stated luminous efficacy of 196 lm/W. Its solar power supply allows the roads to be lit independently of the electricity network.
For the project team, independent solar units made it possible to add road lighting without extending the local electricity network.
